Washington, United States: US President Joe Biden announced $800 Million in additional military assistance to Ukraine on Wednesday soon after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addresses the US Congress in which he appealed for more help in staving off Russia’s invasion.

But in the past year weapons provided to Ukraine from the United States have included at least 2,600 Javelin anti-armor systems and about 600 Stinger antiaircraft missiles, along with an assortment of radar systems, grenade launchers, guns, helicopters and ammunition, tactical gear, military medical equipment, and other equipment.
But Ukraine says it needs sophisticated Antimissile Systems, a senior White House official said.
